The outside box definitely shows age (and it appears to have a star mark on the lid

and place him on a slight incline with a little push and he's a great little walker

with some wear to the wood around the edges at the top of the boot and a smallish white scuff mark on the surface of the wood near the top center on one side

I had not realized though that these two particular cans are early and quite rare ones part of a series of cans with different backs, which Ballantine used from 1938 to 1941. The can at
