Excellent Spatter Painted Chair 1920 printed matter 5 3/4" long x 2"A relatively simple exercise, produced by cutting out a template of a chair then spattering ink around it, but with such an excellent, evocative effect I think, feeling both iconic and ghostly. Really a pretty perfect thing. Done as a school exercise I would guess, and I believe vintage rather than antique, maybe 1940s or so. 11 7 8 x 8 7 8. Black ink on construction type paper.
