and I'll keep snatching them up when I find them as I think they are completely stunning

though I'm honestly not sure what the metal is

Victorian Pressed Sea Moss - Set of Six Specimens, Mounted manuscript map I might be as inclinedI think I'll never get over the magic of antique pressed seaweed sea moss specimens, and really love the wispiness and delicacy of these six, which feel rather as if still waving in the water and also remind me a bit of Rorschach ink blots, where one might see all sorts of things in them. The specimens were adhered to ruled paper, then mounted in a grid to a backing sheet quite long ago I believe (my guess is their presentation here is how they were
