Description
this single-vineyard wine emerges from 80-year-old vines on limestone that survived the devastating frost of 1956
We spent the whole day with Ricardo
Then a bit lower-pitched in the mouth than the Villero and much more tannic on the back end
flowers and wet earth open up the nose
Cain, Cain Five other_regions_australia this single-vineyard wine emerges fromLot 7. Mid, very shaded garnet. Complex nose (and Im two thirds of the way through the tasting and this is the first time Ive used the word complex). Delicate and distinctive. Brooding and bloody. Round and rich. Just a little bit sweet on the end but a very good effort.
