Antique Folk Art Oval Frame with Much Flourish! sterilized horsehair brush and also a 19th centuryA Pennsylvania German tramp art frame, I presume, feeling to me to nod a bit to Black Forest or at least those corner flourishes make me think of Black Forest cuckoo clocks, and the carved disks at the corners of hex stars, too. Very much the right frame for a portrait of one's mother or grandmother or most beloved and feeling as if ready to carry them to Heaven, if they're not there already! 10 3 8" t x 8 1 2" w. Frame sight: 3 1 4" x 2". Excellent
