all of which were created by pressing clay against textured surfaces

I first grabbed this lovely wooden box for its great shape and dovetailed corners

and the carved out eye holes

Nicely done in watercolor, with very thick, painterly application, or maybe even oil paint, used for the bushes trees and ivy. Lovely, and with an unused back for
