Fermentation begins in tank, then the wine is aged in 228 and 350 L French Allier oak barrels for 12 months, 35% new. Morey Coffinet was founded in the late 1970s by Michel Morey (son of the late Marc Morey) and his wife Fabienne (from the Pillot clan). Their son, Thibault, succeeded the couple, taking the helm of the estate in 2009.
