This is a beautiful antique treen box

7 3/4" x 3 3/4" Fabric (velvet I believe) well worn but I think all the better for it

There are a few other small cracks in the rubber here and there

Mid 19th century punch paper embroidery hand stitched to pale silk ribbon, with some toning and stains that seem perfectly suited to that nature of hope itself. Overall 6" x 1 1 2". Embroidery itself 2 3 4" x 1 1 4". Stable and sound, ribbon not brittle. Found in Massachusetts.
