Description
I have since found others similar (including in museum collections) and know that it likely came from Guererro in Mexico
These are rare copies of the 1st and 3rd issues of the forward-looking and very exquisitely produced “The Living Arts: A Portfolio Reflecting the Literary and Artistic Taste of Our Time
I don't know much about it but that it appears to be pretty old and is
2 1/8" across at lip
Cream Mid-Century Presumed Steuler Pottery Vase with Mossy Green Banding kokeshi boy I have since found othersThis really lovely West German mid century vase I believe was made by Steuler; it is stamped on the bottom, but a bit a hard to read. I really love the form, and the soft, mossy green banded glazing against cream. It feels perfect for a few branches of winter berries and greens as well as for spring daffodils or peonies. 7" tall x 4 1 4"widest diameter; 2" across at lip. Very good vintage condition, with a few minor darkish scuff marks near the bottom
