Portrait of John Phillips (1800-1874) Product:Canvas Entrance to St Katharine's DockThree quarter length studio portrait of John Phillips, standing with his body turned to the left as viewed. His right hand is at his hip, the left holding a wooden chair back. Phillips is dressed in a dark jacket over a plaid waistcoat and trousers with a wide stripe. Arched gold surround, inscribed below in gold: 'Photographed by MAULL & POLYBLANK, 55, Gracechurch Street and 187A Piccadilly, London.' Signed below in ink 'John Phillips 27 June 1860'.
