Very Naive Little Carved Man with Blue Coat and Black Beard slag glass short whimsy chainIt was a week of little things, even more so than usual, including this little carved man, found at an antique show in Boxborough, MA. Perhaps he lost his family along with way and now finds himself alone and untethered, feeling to me rather like a character from Beckett. 2 15 16" t x 5 8" w. Good condition, no losses, crudely carved and painted (which is much of why love him), black marker and watercolor on wood.
