Super Graphic and Smart Flour Sack Watermelon Pattern Small Quilt old woman with an opening of 1I found this one in upstate NY near Albany and just thought think the design really excellent, rendering watermelon slices, complete with arcs of black seeds, in crisp and concise abstracted geometric fashion. Solid color cotton fabrics for the red and two shades of green rind and border; flour sack cloth for the creamy white ground; black thread knots for the seeds, and a red string tie at the center of each block. Feels like summer and also pretty
