with both ends twisted tightly together until about half way down

which from what I understand was the generic sticker for glass made in Czechoslovakia

I have found only one other example from what must have been a number of dog plates they produced in blue and white

Radiant Eggplant Still Life by Haitian Artist Calixte Henry, 1980 pyramids I found/find it a completelyI didn't know of Calixte Henri (1933 2010) when I found this painting and also didn't know that a big radiant dose of pink and purple could feel so right! but have since learned that he was a widely recognized and well collected Haitian painter, considered one of the "masters" of Haitian art and there is fair bit on him out there. And no great surprise this painting feels very fresh, very confident, and very resolved. Born in 1933 in Port au Prince,
