Antique Hand-painted Bone Jackstraws in Original Box remedy recipes rose and yellow glazeI've found it difficult to determine exactly when and where the term Jackstraws was used to refer to these vs. spillikins I've had a few sets very very similar to these, with the only difference being the name printed on the box. I think quite possible these were made in England for an American audience, where Jackstraws seems to have been the more common name.
