but none of the sides look more recently cut than any of the others

Wonderful Antique CDV Photo Portrait with Homemade Hand-drawn Mount yarn winder in bottle 1930s or so I believeI purchased this from a seller in England, and know it came from a collection relating to the Arkwright family, who lived at Hampton Court Castle, Hereford from the early 1800s through 1912. (A quick google turns up a lot about them and lots of photos of that marvelous castle!) I believe it is a carte de visite albumen photo, which was given a custom mount, framing this young womanwith quite the necklace!in an ink drawn window, gazing out. Pretty
