Tenuta Meraviglia Bolgheri Rosso, 2016 Macabeau Varieties: 85% TempranilloElegant blend of mostly Cabernet Franc with Cabernet Sauvignon. Intense ruby red hues, black fruit aromas, especially blackberries and cherries, with herbal nuances. Well structured and refreshing with an enduring finish. Meraviglia means "to marvel" in Italian, and these wines beg to be pondered. Fermentation in concrete wooden vats; soft pumping over. Aged one year French oak casks and three months in bottle. Pair with red meats or hearty dishes.
