Red Stained Ball in Cage on Links Whimsy Carving gift for collector The cages measure 2 3/8"A nice chunky old whimsy, good for hanging, with a large single ball in cage with faceted bottom attached to three chain links, the last one round. All carved from one piece of wood and stained a sort of dark red (making it a perfect valentine!) Found in New Hampshire and I think with a good amount of age to it. 9 1 4" l x 2" wide and deep. Very good condition, with a little minor surface cracking as detailed in photos.
