They're a little thinner that the 200 cm (80's) and 160 cm (64's), making them easier to get through boots and shoes with smaller eyelets or just poke through's in the leather. Flat laces apply pressure evenly when tied, making them better for prolonged daily use. Waxed cotton makes these laces inherently water
