Description
this cuvee
A markedly earthy nose features notes of very ripe dark currant
the Mouchère is even better
The most expressive of these four Vosne 1ers at present with a spicy mix of mostly red berry fruit with a lovely floral note of rose petal that continues onto the equally spicy
Joseph Voillot, Pommard Pezerolles Vintage:2010 this cuvee(from a . 4 ha parcel planted in 1963). Once again there is generous wood and menthol elements on the spicy and ripe red berry fruit nose that is also trimmed in warm earth nuances. The refined, even lilting, medium weight flavors exude a subtle bead of minerality on the naturally sweet and lingering finish. This more obviously structured effort is almost delicate at present though I suspect that the mid palate will further flesh out with bottle age.
