Russia, Imperial. A Military Medical Badge for Doctors, c.1900 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac 13th Engineers AEF in FranceOf fine imperial quality in silver gilt, multipiece construction, measuring 45. mm (w) x 58. 1 mm (h), inclusive of the wingnut screwback on the reverse, very light contact, extremely fine. Footnote: The badge was established on February 15, 1897 and was worn by Military Doctors who did not graduate from the Imperial Military Medical Academy but from a medical school.
