Germany, Heer. An M40 Em/Nco’s Tropical Field Cap Auction Archive as per the offered item(Heer Afrikamtze). A very well preserved Heer EM NCOs tropical field cap, constructed of khaki coloured cotton twill. The cap is fully surrounded by a decorative side panel, held in place by a row of machine stitching. It is flanked on each side by dual ventilation holes, reinforced with zink eyelets. Stitched into the peak is an insignia in the form of a silver grey machine embroidered Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, set on a
