Men of Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry lotion Ships bringing provisions to theMen of Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, 1915. The Princess Patricia's Regiment was established in August 1914. Their name comes from Princess Patricia of Connaught, daughter of the Duke of Connaught, who was Governor General of Canada at the time. The regiment served with distinction on the Western Front, with three of its members, Lieutenant Hugh McKenzie, Sergeant George Mullin and Sergeant Robert Spall, being awarded the Victoria Cross.
