A gilded bronze medal with four two plain arms and four multi plain arms, the obverse centre bears a gilt and yellow enamel shield imposed on a blue enamel background, within a border inscribed with Hi Dng Bi Tinh (Navy Cross of Gallantry), the reverse centre bears the inscription VIETNAM, measuring 38. 15 mm (w) x 42. 72 mm (h), with suspension ring on blue and white striped ribbon, accompanied by a silver anchor, very fine.
