Germany, Third Reich. An Order Of The German Eagle, Bronze Merit Medal Archive which had lost Serbia(Verdienstorden vom Deutschen Adler; Bronzene Verdienstmedaille). Instituted 1 May 1937. A circular medal constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a Maltese cross with a left facing national eagle with outspread wings clutching a wreathed swastika in its talons between each arm, the reverse bears the inscription Deutsche Verdienst Medaille, measuring 38. 05 mm (w) x 43. 30 mm (h), with suspension ring on a red ribbon with white and black stripes,
