A circular metal badge in brass finish, the obverse displays a =n embossed portrait of Franz Joseph within a recessed border, above the portrait is the semi circular inscription 1914 WELTKRIEG 1915, with small heraldic shield to the left and right, the lower section bears the inscription BOSNIEN HERCEGOVINA DALMATIEN 1916, reverse presents a horizontal pinback, maker marked ATELIER G. GURSCHNER WIEN VII 2 LINDENGASSE 9, measuring
