Weltkrieg Ersatzpickelhaube aus Filz fr Mannschaften Infanterie). A very well preserved Prussian Infantry Ersatz Pickelhaube (spiked helmet), constructed of field grey pressed felt. The crown is topped by a circular gilded brass disc, fixed in place with four domed rivets, accommodating a protruding spike of identical construction, which features five ventilation holes distributed around the stem.
