An Order Of Franz Joseph, Knight’s Cross, By Wilhelm Kunz, C.1917 United Republic of Silver Grade with Wreath -(Kaiserlich sterreichischer Franz Joseph Orden, Ritterkreuz) Issued 1914 1918. A cross with a double headed crowned eagle in gilt bronze, with a central white enameled medallion, inscribed FJ, along with chains that are inscribed VIRIBUS UNITIS (Latin United Strength) in bronze gilt; the reverse of the cross with a central white enameled medallion, dated 1849, with a swivel crown suspension, with a period original tri fold ribbon; marked Wilhelm Kunz,
