2016 | Giuseppe Mascarello | Barbera d'Alba Scudetto Producer_Casanova di Neri bottled by the distillery ownersRed Wine: 2016 Giuseppe Mascarello Barbera d'Alba Scudetto Dark fruit, and flowers on the nose. Deep dark color, plenty of detritus, small molecules. Front blue, plummy, deep, intense, thick with crazy mouthfeel, lasting through the middle, intense to the end but soft and velvety. Acid on the back though takes time to emerge. Breathing helps this wine immensely, although its delicious no matter when. This is amazing complex interesting wine. Order
