A cross pattee constructed of gilt bronze; the obverse with a central medallion depicting a cross, with a royal crown, 1914 and 1916 on the cross, as well as Badens coat of arms; the reverse with a similar central medallion bearing the crowned royal monogram of Grand Duke Friedrich; on a double loop suspension; accompanied by a period original ladys ribbon with a horizontal pinback; measuring 38. 79 (w) x 68. 66 mm
