Cruger's azimuth quadrant mb-artist Oscar_Bryn George VI (Albert Frederick ArthurCruger's azimuth quadrant, 1673 (1956). Peter Cruger (1580 1639) was a German mathematician, astronomer and polymath. He taught the Polish astronomer Johannes Hevelius, who completed Cruger's design for the azimuth quadrant.
