All Around Is Nothing 2 Size:48" x 48" A square lidded bone boxAll Around Is Nothing 2 is part of a series of six geometric works on paper that call to mind the work of British Op Art artist Bridget Riley circa the 1960s. The series features a single geometric circle in varying angles and monochromatic shades. In this work, thin graphite bands form the geometric circle giving it a 3D effect. A background of repetitive horizontal graphite bands suspends the circle giving it the appearance of floating in space.
