In 1913 a Morgan made the fastest time at the Shelsey Walsh Hill Climb at an average speed of 22 mph. In 1914 the Morgan was excluded from the RAC Lightcar and Cyclecar Trial because it had only three wheels instead of four. However it would be another twenty two years before the first four wheeler was introduced.
