Hammer & Söhne consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac small flake to enamel on(Erdkampfabzeichen der Luftwaffe). Constructed of silvered and toned zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika while in mid flight, overlaying a stylized cloud from which a lightning bolt emanates and strikes the ground, the reverse with a single visible rivet securing the eagle in position, with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting
