A Chaplain Service Cap Badge in Silver Auction Footnote: In May 1837Constructed of a silver alloy, the reverse retaining both original attachment prongs, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of manufacture by G. F. Hemsley, measuring 30 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), demonstrating some tarnishing throughout the base metal, with scratching to the reverse, in extremely fine condition.
