Prussia, Kingdom. An Order Of The Crown, Gold Medal Newly Listed Beret has a black wool(Kronenorden Medaille). Instituted 18 October 1861 by Kaiser Wilhelm I. (1888 1916 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension, the obverse with a raised Cross Patte bearing a central medallion with a royal crown circumscribed by an inscription of GOTT MIT UNS (GOD IS WITH US), the reverse with a monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm II, unmarked, measuring 24. 90 mm (w) x 36. 59 mm (h), weighing 8. 2 grams, in extremely fine condition.
