Constructed of plated aluminum, the obverse bearing a central applique consisting of standard flags surrounding a wreathed and enameled National Socialist Reich Warriors Association (NSRKB) insignia, topped at both corners by gilded bronze studs, each connected to a reverse rivet accommodating a multi link bronze neck chain, with the links featuring alternating swastika and Iron
