Pine Barrens Whisky Single Malt (750ml) Cadboll ÿ The Canadian Rye whiskyDistilled from beer and aged for one year in new oak casks, this small batch whisky is bright and distinctly fruity. The aroma is mild, mixing caramel with a hint of red fruit. The plush palate shows more red fruit and black cherry, drying to cocoa, leather, oak, black pepper, cayenne and clove. Quite a bit of dilution is needed to bring down the alcohol sting, which unfortunately fades out the lovely fruit and brings a more generic vanilla profile
