These cars were immortalised in the famous film 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang', which was released in 1968. The film was based on a novel by Ian Fleming. The car was finished in June 1967 and was registered with the number plate GEN 11, the plate given to her by Ian Fleming in the book. In the
