Germany, Heer. A Mint Officer’s Breast Eagle Hold circa 1845(Heer Brustadler fr Offiziere). Constructed of a field grey wool base, the obverse bearing a layer of field grey machine embroidery overlaid by a silver aluminum wire Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 120 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), the lower edge of the base metal demonstrates a small spot fatigue or mothing but the eagle remains in an unissued and near mint condition.
