Constructed of field grey rayon, the obverse trimmed along both the top and bottom edges with machine embroidered silver aluminum wire tresses, bearing an inscription of UNTEROFFIZIERVORSCHULE in Fraktur script of identical construction, the reverse with guide threading visible, unmarked, measuring 30 mm (w) x 370 mm (l), minor material fatigue is evident and includes some shrinkage owing to age and storage
