An 1813 German Imperial Carl Theodor Körner Memorial Medal Newly Listed stocky buildIn bronze; the obverse depicts Krner standing beside his horse while pulling his sabre out of the sheath with a lyric from his own works, the Sabre song; the reverse depicts a leftward facing bust of Krner inscribed he Fell for Germanys Freedom 26. Aug. 1813; engraver marked "F. Hrnlein" on the reverse, measuring 56 mm in diameter; light contact marks, extremely fine.
