which is unmarked with the exception of a size of “56” stamped onto the crown in white ink

subordinate only to Reichsleiter (Reich leader) and the Führer

the reverse with a central white enameled medallion bearing a gilt date of “1849”

Germany, Third Reich. A Patriotic Handkerchief Newly Listed below is maker’s mark WKC(Taschentuch). Constructed of silver grey rayon, featuring five double sided mobile swastikas, situated at each corner and in the centre, one corner bearing an embroidered monogram, otherwise unmarked, measuring 54 cm (w) x 59 mm (l), with minor soiling evident, and interesting an unofficial example of patriotica in near extremely fine condition.
