Railfans flocked to the Western Maryland where four units were still working out their final years on the railroad. The only Alco cab units on the roster, the WM ordered four FA 2s in 1941 because EMD models weren't readily available. By the late 1960s, the four found themselves operating mostly out of Hagerstown,
