Shown with batteries of Leyden jars. Plate 6 from Beschryving eene ongemeen groote electrizeer machine geplaatst in Teyler's Museum by Martinus van Marum (Haarlemn, 1785). The plate is inscribed 'Pl. VI. B. de Bakker sculps.' Martin van Marum was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1798.
