Constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a sword and mobile swastika, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback, marked FECHLER, BERNSBACH SA, measuring 47. 03 mm (w) x 58. 55 mm (h), weighing 19. 1 grams, loss of bronze finish is evident and the catch is missing, in overall very fine condition.
