stamped "FS" and "138" ("FS" indicating the manufacturer
Germany, Heer. An Em/Nco’s Cap Insignia Hold sewn on the ends(Heer Mtzenabzeichen). Constructed of field grey cotton twill, the obverse with a machine embroidered grey Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, above a tri colour cockade, unmarked, measuring 54 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in very fine condition.
