An M17 Steel Combat Helmet United Republic of Wound Medal for One WoundThis stamped, sheet steel construction helmet is magnetic and retains most of its original field gray green paint. It has its original steel liner band, held in place by three flat headed rivets, all three with their dual tabs remaining intact and securing the band in place. The chin strap bolts on either side are held in place by rivets and remain intact, as are the protruding ventilation side lugs on either side. The inside is stamped "BW188" in the
