A War Merit Cross 2Nd Class With Swords & Packet Hold and approximately 27mm (1 inch)Bronzed tombac, 48 mm, original ribbon, spotting, very light contact ,extremely fine. Accompanied by its paper packet of issue, inscribed in black ink "Kriegs Berdienstkreuz 2: Klasse mit Schwertern" on the front, inscribed in black ink with the "Eugen Schmidhussler, Pforzheim" maker mark on the reverse, both inscriptions in Gothic text, tape repair evident, packet better than very fine.
