An Rare Nsdap Gauleiter Armband Auction Footnote: Douglas Harvey McCallum wasThis armband is constructed of heavy red wool, centering black ribbed swastika with a single gilded pip in the center, superimposed on the white circle, both edged in golden bullion threads; extending on both sides of swastika are large oakleaves in golden bullion, edged by a double row of twisted bullion wire (one about 1. 5mm, the other, 5mm wide). Armband is approximately 13cm (or 5 inches) tall, edged on top and bottom with a double bullion row
