An 83Rd Joliette Regiment (Le Régiment De Joliette) Officer's Cap Badge, C.1914 Hold 224 mm x 350 mmRibbon banner inscribed "QUEM TIMEBO" in silver, mounted to a bronze gilt insignia base, the voided centrepiece housing the silver numerals "8" and "3" mounted to a circular piece of maroon felt on a wax base, maker marked "J. R. GAUNT MONTREAL" on the reverse, measuring 39. 2 mm (w) x 45. 5 mm (h), both lugs intact, one of which is bent back, original pin, scattered gilt wear on the reverse, near extremely fine.
